An interactive 1-day workshop (9am-4pm) intended for those in executive/leadership roles with oversight responsibility. We explore the changes for organisations implied by the new framework and NHS Standard Contract, the significance of the PSIRP and a collaborative learning response ‘roadmap’. How might your organisation assure the requirements of PSIRF and navigate the nuanced shift from compliance to performance based oversight. We explore the governance around the decision of what constitutes a proportionate response to a patient safety incident and consider how to ensure safety learning results in improvement. Finally, how can PSIRF drive a pro-active approach to safety and ensure risk in the organisation is as low as reasonably practical (ALARP). Our experience is that this course can be very productive at ICB level with an audience from various stakeholders. Can be delivered on-site or on-line.
